Futures Academy embraces sports, arts and cultural activities as a vital component of its education system. We are convinced that the arts and culture sector is awash with concrete employment and livelihood opportunities that are sustainable. Futures Academy has therefore set itself on a trajectory to offer lessons in music, sports, arts and cultural activities. We endeavour to sharpen artistic skills (capacity building), provide students with an understanding of critical cultural awareness, and empower, market and promote artistic talent.
The congenital sporting and artistic talent possessed by the young generation needs to be identified at an early stage, encouraged, nurtured, and marketed in good time. Only then can students realise their full potential, learn how best to apply their talent, and evolve into accomplished Sports(wo)men and Artists. For those students with a passion for singing and poetry, yet they have chosen a career path in the sciences, for example, Futures Academy believes in providing the opportunity for the students to explore both passions simultaneously, without having to compromise neither talent nor career objectives. .
The College , from 2021, will teach, train and expose students to a variety of music, dance, theatre, arts and culture disciplines as part of widening options for future careers for the talented.
